What Warranty Do I Have With My Window Tint
XPEL warrants PRIME Automotive Window Film to be free of manufacturer defects for the life of your vehicle. Covered defects include discolouration, fading, bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination.
Coolaz Tint & Protection will replace the film free of charge if the above issues occur
Please Note – we will not replace film that is self damaged and not looked after
How Long Does It Take To Tint My Vehicle
It really depends on the size of the vehicle that has to be tinted below are some estimated times that it take for it to be done
- Small Vehicle – ie hatchback, small SUV, Ute Etc – 2hrs to 3hrs
- Large Vehicle – ie Large SUV, Mini Van Etc – 3hrs-4hrs
- Extra Large Vehicle – Large Van with multiple windows – 4hrs-6hrs
Do You Remove The Old Window Tint
Yes, we generally steam the tint off the vehicle it can take 1hrs-6hrs depending on how old the window tint is.
If it’s been on there for a very long time using old tint film technology it generally comes off in small sections and can cost a lot of money to fully remove due to the time it takes to remove it
What Are The Window Tint Regulations For Australia
Australian States and Territories set maximum darkness for the aftermarket application of window film on a passenger vehicle’s side and rear windows. Hence the phrase ‘darkest legal tint’.
This limit is expressed as a visible light transmission level or VLT percentage.
Coolaz Tint & Protection advises you stay within the legal limit. Modifying a vehicle with illegally dark windows renders that vehicle unroadworthy. Failure to comply with tint laws could result in fines, rego fail, the cost of tint removal, insurance cancellation and even criminal charges if the windows prove to be a contributing factor in an accident.
- Windshield: Only the uppermost 10% windshield may be tinted.
- Front side windows: Must have more than 35% VLT.
- Back side windows: Must have more than 20% VLT. Rear window: Must have more than 20% VLT.
What Happens When I Submit The Form
You will recieve a text message with a proposal of the 3 different types of tint Prime CS, XR, XR Plus with the prices of each for your vehicle which you can choose which one you like
How Do I Book My Car In
If you like the proposal we sent you and would like to proceed with us tinting your vehicle, please call us and we will work out a day that we have available and book that day out for you
You will automatically get reminders sent to you before the day of your window tint installation
Is There A Pick Up & Drop Off Service
We understand how hard it can be being able to get your Vehicle tinted with only one car, We do offer to pick up and drop off services for the Warwick Area to help with your vehicle installation
Please Note – We do not allow you to stay while we install the window tint due to health and safety reasons
How Do I Pay For My Window Tint
Currently, we only offer Electronic transfers and cash, you can pay on the day or before your service is done, We do not allow accounts unless you are a high volume client please contact us if you require this and Coolaz Tint & Protection will send you an account form to fill out with our terms and conditions
We are working on acquiring Eftpos facilities in the near future
Do You Do Mobile Window Tinting
Yes we can come to your location for a extra travel fee if its outside the warwick area
We require a clean shed to work in that has adquate space to move around to tint the window
Please Note :- Installation of window tint need extremely clean area due to dirt showing the tint of the windows easily to mimise this is why we ask for a clean workspace
Does My Car Need To Be Cleaned
Yes if the vehicle comes in extremely dirty we will charge you a cleaning fee to do the installation
